TESCO, the leading global retailer, primarily known for its grocery business in the UK, has used plastic sheets NUDEC PET to produce its new canopies.
The canopies are used for protecting trolleys, used by consumers in the shopping centres, from the outside weather conditions. They were assembled with extruded NUDEC PET sheets ranging from 2-5 mm.
Why NUDEC PET plastic sheets?
These sheets are very resistant to the chemical attacks caused by the acid rain, the exhaust fumes from diesel engines and air that has a certain saline content. Therefore their UV version is very useful for outdoors.
Moreover, the sheets have a good fire resistance rating. In this respect, they have obtained the EN 13501-1 certificate with B s1 d0 rating.
