Energy with GoO helps reduce emissions associated with manufacturing and meet demanding ESG requirements.
Sustainability is not a choice for the future, but a responsibility for today.
That’s why, since 2025, all the electricity powering our manufacturing processes has been certified with Guarantees of Origin (GoO), and our intention is to maintain this decision permanently as a core part of our environmental strategy.
Guarantees of Origin (GoO) are official certificates that verify that an amount of energy equivalent to that consumed by NUDEC has been generated from renewable sources such as solar, wind, or hydro power.
This system, regulated by Directive 2009/28/EC and the CNMC in Spain, ensures full transparency and energy traceability, reinforcing our commitment to a low-carbon economy.

Since our beginnings, we have taken seriously the need to minimize the environmental impact of our industrial activity. The voluntary adoption of the GoO system in key years such as 2010, 2011, 2021, and now in 2025 reflects a continuous evolution and a commitment that goes beyond legal requirements.
With this new energy contract, all plastic sheets manufactured by NUDEC in 2025 will be produced using electricity from 100% renewable sources.
This step brings multiple benefits to our customers, who incorporate our sheets into products or applications that also aim to reduce their environmental footprint.
For companies, using NUDEC plastic sheets means:
-
Accessing products manufactured with clean, certified energy,, improving the ESG indicators of their own processes.
-
Incorporating materials with clear energy traceability, aligned with demanding environmental standards.
-
Communicating to their own customers and stakeholders that their supply chain is committed to renewable energy, efficiency, and transparency.
But the impact goes beyond the corporate level. By purchasing energy with GoO, we contribute to the development of renewable energy in Europe, promote the progressive decarbonization of the electricity system, and support a more stable, resilient, and environmentally respectful energy model.
This commitment is part of a broader strategic vision, which includes ISO 50001 certification, the use of raw materials with a lower environmental footprint, ecodesign, the recyclability of our products, and the continuous promotion of more responsible practices throughout our entire value chain.
For us, purchasing renewable energy is not just a technical measure — it is an ethical decision: a gesture that connects our values with the real needs of the planet and future generations. That is why our intention is for the use of 100% renewable energy with GoO not to be a one-time action, but a principle that will guide us permanently.
